Traction Engines

The club has an active and ever-growing number of members that own Traction Engines of all shapes and sizes. And whilst the main focus remains around the locomotives the steamers regularly take their engines along to the many of the club events around the county including the ever growing Chickerell Steam fair and the world renown Great Dorset Steam Fair which is hosted in late August in North Dorset.

Not only a does the club have a wealth of experience in this field but also facilities to allow for engine pressure testing and qualified boiler inspectors that can carry out both static pressure tests and the all-important steam tests.
